How Credits Transfer

There are a few ways to figure out how your credits will transfer to PSU. It's important to know our transfer rules. Here's a summary:

  • all college-level credits are transferable from regionally accredited colleges;
  • credits do not expire;
  • courses below 100 level will not transfer;
  • you're limited to 12 vocational/technical credits; and
  • 90 quarter/60 semester credits = junior standing.

ÌýApply to PSU. To get a transfer evaluation, you must apply to PSU and submit transcripts from all schools attended. PSU will evaluate your application for admission and evaluate your credits.
